Controller and scope

VIDETICS SAS · Bâtiment Thalès A, 2000 route des Lucioles, 06410 Biot, France.

Videtics is the controller for contacts, demo requests and partner applications received through this website. This policy concerns visitors and professional contacts. Video processing for customers is described in our data processing policy.

Information collected

You provide professional contact details, company, role and information needed for your project or application: sector, needs, camera fleet, VMS, schedule and free-text details. Technical documents and links you choose to send are optional. Required fields are marked; without them we cannot properly handle your request.

The demo form records an initial request when the first stages are submitted; you can then complete the optional technical details. Do not send passwords, camera credentials or unnecessary identifiable images.

Technical connection information may be processed for website operation and security. Protection against abusive submissions uses an identifier derived from the IP address. Glossary searches and compatibility-checker choices are processed in your browser; details included in a demo request are sent only at your initiative.

Purposes and legal bases

Responding to requests, reviewing projects and applications, arranging demos and business follow-up: Videtics’ legitimate interest in developing professional relationships; pre-contractual steps at your request where you are personally a party to the prospective contract.

Demo requests may receive an internal qualification score based on project details to help our teams organise follow-up. This ranking is not a solely automated decision producing legal or similarly significant effects on you.

Sending news you choose to subscribe to: your consent, which can be withdrawn at any time. Website security and abuse prevention: our legitimate interest. Meeting accounting, judicial or regulatory requirements: applicable legal obligations.

Access and hosting

Requests are stored in the website administration area for authorised staff. Videtics and Technis group sales and technical teams are involved as needed for your case. Sales notifications are addressed to sales@technis.com. Demo form attachments are not published in the public media library.

Hostinger hosts the production website. Hosting, maintenance and email providers may process data needed for their duties under contractual commitments. Authorities may also receive data where required by law. Data is not sold.

Access or transfers outside the European Economic Area must rely on an adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, with necessary additional measures. The DPO can provide information about recipients, processing locations and safeguards applicable to your case and a copy of the relevant safeguards.

Retention periods

Prospecting data, including requests not resulting in a contract, is kept for no more than three years after the last active contact, subject to your objection. Attachments are retained only as long as needed to assess and follow up the case. Data for a case becoming a customer relationship then follows contract-related and statutory retention periods; accounting records are retained for ten years.

Evidence needed to establish a right or manage a dispute may be archived with restricted access for the applicable limitation period. Technical data is limited to the period needed for security, diagnosis or incident management. At the end of applicable periods, data must be deleted or anonymised.

The form temporarily stores your entries in browser session storage so you can resume in the same tab. Resuming is limited to 24 hours; session storage is cleared when the tab closes. The referring page and language may accompany your request to provide context.

Cookies and third-party links

The website currently has no advertising tracker configured. Technical cookies may be used for administration login and language preference. You can remove them in browser settings; some preferences or features may then reset. Social media links open third-party services with their own policies. Any future non-essential trackers must be preceded by information and, where required, visitor consent.

Exercise your rights

Subject to GDPR conditions, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction or portability, and object to certain processing, including direct marketing. You may withdraw consent without affecting prior lawful processing and give instructions about your data after death under French law.
